Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day is celebrated each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people and inspire a national conversation. Safer Internet Day 2018 will be celebrated globally on Tuesday 6th February 2018 with the slogan “Create, Connect and Share Respect: A better internet starts with you”.

 

Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally in February each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people and inspire a national conversation. Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre the celebration sees hundreds of organisations get involved to help promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.

 

Our school will be taking part, with each class looking at activities or having discussions about staying safe on the internet and how to be a good digital citizen. We would like you to continue these activities and discussions at home, to show that online safety is something we need to think about wherever we are.
